Outlaw History investigates the unknown outlaws of yesteryear.  These are the "Almost Forgotten" men and women whose exploits rival those of their better known counterparts.  These characters  never experienced neither the notoriety nor the historical investigations of their famous counterparts. I hope these pages and my writings help shed light upon the actions, desires, and thoughts of these characters.

For many, many years I have been fascinated with the outlaws of the past.  It's in my blood.   Born and raised in Central Indiana, the "John Dillinger  Gang" captured my imagination from an early age.   As  a child, I often  explored the John Dillinger museum that was located  in Nashville, Indiana.  As I grew, so did my hunger for knowledge and I read every book I could  find on this group of men.  Soon, I found myself more interested in the  lesser know characters of the gang who never became Public Enemy  Number One, but whose actions rivaled those of John, himself.  These  men  and women became the focus of my research and are the focus of  this site.

Many of the characters detailed on this site are the subjects of autobiography books I am writing.  I hope these works will unveil to the world the life's these men and women led.  In many cases, I believe these characters led lives far more interesting than John Dillinger, Bonnie & Clyde, Baby Face Nelson, and other famous outlaws of the past.
